Discover Parliament at Open House Melbourne
Parliament House will open its doors on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 July as part of Open House Melbourne 2015.
It will be a rare weekend opening for one of Victoria’s most significant landmarks.
See craftsmanship at Parliament House during Open House Melbourne
Free tours of the historic building will be held every 15 minutes starting at 10:00 am on both days, with the final tour at 3:00 pm.
See inside the chambers of the Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council and take a look at the Parliamentary Library with its vast collection of books and historic material.
View the many ornate heritage features dating back to the 19th century.
See some of the work that is done to maintain this important landmark, with renovations currently under way in Queen’s Hall.
It’s a unique opportunity to see the craftsmanship involved with preserving the heritage of the building.
Since 2008, Open House Melbourne has been connecting people with good design and architecture in the city.

More than 100 buildings will open their doors for free and there will a range of events, tours, workshops and exhibitions throughout the city.
