Submission time extended for end of life choices
The Victorian Parliament’s Legal and Social Issues Committee has extended the time to make submissions for its inquiry into end of life choices.
“There will be a one month extension for the community to have its say,” Committee Chair Edward O’Donohue announced.
“Submissions will now close on 31 August 2015.”
The announcement came after the Committee held public hearings in Geelong and Warrnambool last week.
“We have received many requests from organisations and individuals for some more time to make a submission to this inquiry,” Mr O’Donohue said.
“The Committee wants to give as many people as possible the opportunity to voice their views on this important topic.
“Extra time to lodge a submission will help people who wish to have their say to the Committee.”
Information on the inquiry is available from the Committee’s website.
