La Trobe University is celebrating its 50th year with an exhibition at Parliament House.
Being held from 6 to 10 March, the exhibition is showcasing the university’s achievements as well as its plans for the future.
La Trobe’s researchers will be at the exhibition to share their expertise in areas as diverse as sports, cancer research, international relations, autism, food security and disability services.
The exhibition will highlight a number of university initiatives, including a program designed to increase cyber security skills in secondary schools, the case for a regionally based medical school, a new $150 million high tech sports park in Northern Melbourne and a new initiative to coincide with International Women’s Day.
