Do you want to know more about Parliamentary inquiries and how you can take part and influence public policy? In this free workshop you will learn about Parliamentary committee inquiries and gain lots of practical tips for making your submission stand out. We’ll cover:
- The inquiry process
- The value of making a submission
- The dos and don’ts of submission-writing
- How to maximise the impact of your submission.
The workshop will be facilitated by staff members from the Victorian Parliament’s committees.
Who should attend?
This workshop is aimed at people working in community sector organisations, whose work may involve writing submissions to Victorian Parliamentary inquiries. This workshop will be most useful for people with limited experience or no experience writing submissions. Those who wish to refresh their knowledge and skills are also welcome to attend.
