New Bills released
An omnibus bill that makes a range of changes to consumer legislation related to domestic building contracts, pets in residential tenancies, the rollout of the solar homes program, fundraising and other matters.
Creates offences relating to trespass on land with intent to undertake activities that interfere with activities involving animals.
Provides for the revocation of permanent reservations of Crown land related to the expansions of Frankston Hospital and Camberwell Primary School, the status of land near Corio Bay and arrangements for Coleraine Racecourse.
Makes a range of changes to the regulation and operation of owners corporations.
Amends the Wildlife Act 1975 to protect certain birds, to prohibit the hunting, taking or destruction of those birds and make further provision for other activities relating to birds.
