Inquiry Overview
The Committee is doing an inquiry on early childhood engagement of culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities.
For the purposes of the inquiry, ‘early childhood’ is from 0 to 8 years old. ‘Early childhood engagement’ could involve programs and services in health, learning, childcare, play groups, family centres, sport and recreation, and local libraries.
Resources have been developed to promote the inquiry and to assist people make a submission. If you want information that is easy to read and understand, download the Easy English document. Easy English uses simple language and images to help people understand complex information.
The inquiry poster can also be used to promote the inquiry, which is available in Arabic, Chin, Chinese (traditional and simplified), Dari, Dinka, Khmer, Karen, Punjabi, Persian, Spanish, Somali and Vietnamese.
