2015-16 Bus Package

MR DAVIS — To ask the Minister for Roads (for the Minister for Public Transport): In relation to the 2015-16 Bus Package where the deliverables are described on page 25 of the 2015‑16 Budget papers as ‘Victoria’s bus networks will be improved by adding more routes, expanding others, restoring cut services and fixing missing links in Melbourne’s growth areas’:

(1)   How many cut services were restored.

(2)   What are the route numbers of each cut service that was restored.

(3)   When did each restored service commence delivering passenger services.

(4)   What is the weekday and weekend timetable for each bus service restored.

(5)   Which bus company is delivering each individual cut service that was restored.

The 2015-16 Bus Package collection of improvements have built a stronger bus network and provided better connections to support Victoria's economic growth, linking communities and improving access to shops and educational facilities.

2015-16 Bus Package

Route 509 and Route 10 were introduced to restore cut services. Route 509 was introduced in January 2016. Route 10 was introduced in September 2017. Timetables for these routes can be found on the PTV website. The Dysons Group operates route 509 and CDC operates route 10.
