2015-16 Bus Package
MR DAVIS — To ask the Minister for Roads (for the Minister for Public Transport): In relation to the 2015-16 Bus Package where the deliverables are described on page 25 of the 2015‑16 Budget papers as ‘Victoria’s bus networks will be improved by adding more routes, expanding others, restoring cut services and fixing missing links in Melbourne’s growth areas’: What were the actual output costs between 1 July 2015 and 30 June 2019, by year, for bus services that were cut and have been restored.

The 2015-16 Bus Package collection of improvements have built a stronger bus network and provided better connections to support Victoria's economic growth, linking communities and improving access to shops and educational facilities.
Once bus improvement packages are delivered, their ongoing funding becomes part of the overall operational budget.

2015-16 Bus Package Bus Network Service Changes are mostly delivered as packages consisting of multiple route and timetable changes. During the period between 1 July 2015 and 30 June 2019, route 10 and route 509 were delivered as stand alone reinstated service changes with minimal or no changes to the existing surrounding bus networks.
The output costs by financial year for route 10 in Ballarat and route 509 are as follows:
• 2015/16 $0.21m
• 2016/17 $0.46m
• 2017/18 $0.53m
• 2018/19 $0.56m
