(1) An $89 million contract has been awarded to construct the rail bridge over Toorak Road. As with most large infrastructure projects, the project alliance receives regular progress payments in accordance with project milestones as the work progresses, which are subject to regular audit, review and adjustment by the project owner. The Level Crossing Removal Project is currently forecast to deliver all 75 level crossing removals within its project budget by 2025.

(2) The level crossing will be removed in April 2020.
