Behind the Scenes Tour
Due to COVID-19 and in the interests of public health and safety, Parliament House is closed to visitors and all behind the scenes tours have been cancelled until further notice.
Victoria’s Parliament House is one of the most important buildings in Australia’s history. The Behind The Scenes Tour explains what goes on during parliamentary sitting days, and how the state’s legislature operates. You will see parts of the building not normally accessible to the public. A must for anybody with a keen interest in politics, history, or a curiosity for how the parliamentary system operates.
The tour runs for approximately 90 minutes. Please note this tour involves a lot of walking and stairs. Photography may be limited in some areas.
