Sunday on Spring Street

Spend Sunday on Spring Street, the opening weekend of PHOTO 2022

Enjoy the opening weekend of PHOTO 2022 at Parliament House

Sunday 1 May 2022, 11am - 3pm

With artworks popping up all over Melbourne and regional Victoria in May, why not start your artistic adventures on Spring Street as we celebrate the opening weekend of the PHOTO 2022 International Festival of Photography here at Parliament House.

Grab a tasty treat and enjoy live music while you take in the stunning photographic installation by the award-winning Oculi Collective on the steps of Parliament House. These large-scale artworks will explore the ways that communities across our state come together for relaxation, enjoyment and connection, often in the face of uncertain times.

As you make your way along the winding paths of this Victorian-era gem, hear from our dedicated team of gardeners who continue to realise the grand vision of its designer, William Guilfoyle. And of course, there’ll be plenty of opportunity to capture the perfect photo of this unique heritage landscape tucked away in the heart of Melbourne.

These free tours will run for approximately 45 minutes and bookings are essential.
