Extrasensory science for everyone
Parliament House was transformed into a community science lab last Saturday for Extrasensory to celebrate National Science Week.
A large crowd was entertained with a range of scientific experiments, workshops, presentations and performances throughout the building.
There was also a serious side to it, with some of the scientists using the opportunity to collect research data from people who took part in their activities.
A number of leading scientists gave talks in the parliamentary chambers, including NASA scientist Dr Darlene Lim from the Ames Research Center in California.
Extrasensory was presented by the Victorian coordinating committee for National Science Week, The Royal Society of Victoria and the Parliament of Victoria.
