The Solutions of the Future Forum

In recognition of International Day of Women and Girls in Science, watch the livestream of a forum being held at Parliament House on Friday, 21 February 2025 from 12 noon to 1:30 pm. The livestream will have Auslan interpreters.

Three remarkable women leaders in the fields of science, technology, engineering, mathematics and medicine (STEMM) will discuss finding 'The Solutions of the Future'.

Broadcast from the Legislative Assembly chamber at Parliament House, the panel discussion will include:

Science journalist Natasha Mitchell will be compering the discussion, with questions from an audience of tech school students and teachers.

This event is presented by the Parliament of Victoria for the Inspiring Victoria program with the kind support of the Hon Maree Edwards MP, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly. The event is convened in partnership with the Royal Society of Victoria and the Victorian Tech Schools and Specialist Science & Mathematics Centres (Department of Education).
