The petition of certain citizens of the State of Victoria draws to the attention of the Legislative Council the need to create a new public holiday on 21 July in honour of Australian Formula One driver, Oscar Piastri, and his first grand prix victory. Oscar Piastri grew up and started his racing career in Victoria.

The petitioners therefore request that the Legislative Council call on the Government to create a public holiday in Victoria on 21 July in honour of the first grand prix victory for Australian Formula One driver Oscar Piastri.
