Subordinate Legislation and Administrative Arrangements Amendment Bill 2024
Makes miscellaneous changes to improve the operation and clarity of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 and the Administrative Arrangements Act 1983.
Youth Justice Bill 2024
Raises the minimum age of criminal responsibility from 10 years of age to 12 years of age, provides police powers in relation to children under the minimum age of criminal responsibility, establishes a scheme that provides courts with alternative processes to deal with children who are alleged to have committed criminal offences, and makes other changes in relation to youth justice.
