2015-16 Bus Package
MR DAVIS — To ask the Minister for Roads (for the Minister for Public Transport): In relation to the 2015-16 Bus Package where the deliverables are described on page 25 of the 2015‑16 Budget papers as ‘Victoria’s bus networks will be improved by adding more routes, expanding others, restoring cut services and fixing missing links in Melbourne’s growth areas’: What were the actual output costs between 1 July 2015 and 30 June 2019, by year, of this initiative.

Victoria's bus network has been improved but the 2015-16 Bus Package, a collection of improvements designed to build a stronger network and provide better connections between economic, education and employment centres.
Once bus improvement packages are delivered their ongoing funding becomes part of the departments overall operational budget.

2015-16 Bus Package These initiatives were funded under the $100m Bus Package which was combined with a further $13.6m Fast Tracking budget to provide a total of $113.6m for bus service improvements. The actual output costs by year under these two budget packages are as follows;
• 2015/16 $2.14m
• 2016/17 $30.52m
• 2017/18 $35.19m
• 2018/19 $36.15m
