Mark Dreyfus

I wish to warmly congratulate Mark Dreyfus on his appointment as Australia’s Attorney-General. I know how hard he will work to establish a powerful, independent national anti-corruption commission as well as working to restore integrity to appointments to bodies such as the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and the Australian Human Rights Commission. Mark is an absolute defender of the rule of law and will prioritise holding government to account, instilling and maintaining integrity in our public institutions and making sure that our federal system works to protect and support all Australians.
