Flood recovery
Tim BULL (Gippsland East) (09:42): East Gippsland has suffered two relatively recent flood events. In the past a Treasurer’s advance has been provided to the East Gippsland Catchment Management Authority to undertake the necessary erosion works and catchment works that need to be done post flood. For these two events, though, that Treasurer’s advance has not been forthcoming, so there is a lot of work that remains to be done. I ask the minister to ensure the CMA is provided with these essential funds and also provide a time line of when they will be provided.
