Williamstown electorate sporting clubs

Melissa HORNE (Williamstown – Minister for Ports and Freight, Minister for Roads and Road Safety, Minister for Health Infrastructure) (10:02): Beyond cultural celebrations I was delighted to host our local bowling clubs for Williamstown’s annual bowling competition in Parliament. Congratulations to Newport Bowls Club on their victory. It was a great day.

In sporting news, the Williamstown Football Club is nearing completion of its new female-friendly facilities, including upgraded change rooms and football services. This $2.2 million project is supported by the federal government, AFL Victoria and $1 million from the state government. I cannot wait to attend their home game this Friday night.
