Welcome. The Victorian Parliament offers a range of resources, information and programs for teachers, to support the exploration of civics and citizenship and legal studies in Victorian classrooms.

Teacher Open House, 12 July 2024, 3pm

Teachers from across Victoria’s education sector are invited to an open house experience at the Victorian parliament.

Civics and citizenship in a contemporary society, Friday 16 August, 9am-3pm

Teachers are invited to attend a free conference exploring the Victorian civics and citizenship curriculum.


The conference will consider the implementation of the new curriculum, including exploring contemporary issues, civic processes and concepts of diversity and identity, as well as strategies and activities for the civics and citizenship classroom.
