Inquiry into 2019-20 financial and performance outcomes

The Committee’s inquiry into the financial and performance outcomes assists Parliament and the community to gauge what the Government achieved in the last financial year(s) compared to what the Government planned to achieve. This inquiry complements the Committee’s scrutiny of the budget estimates and aims to:

• improve the accountability of Victorian Government departments and agencies
• improve the transparency and clarity in the reporting of public sector performance
• provide the Parliament and community with more meaningful information about the outcomes delivered in the last financial year(s).

The 2019-20 Financial and Performance Outcomes Inquiry hearings were held from 22-25 February 2021.
