Mr Jeff Bourman
Meet Jeff
Before entering Parliament, Jeff worked in many jobs including IT administrator, cleaner, security guard, administration officer, police officer and photographer.
Jeff was prompted to run for Parliament because he was angered by changes to firearm regulations in 2012. He says that he realised that the major parties would never stop punishing law-abiding firearm users, and that the only way to stop them was to enter politics.
The priorities Jeff has for his community and constituents are to keep jobs in the Latrobe Valley, and to keep an eye out on for attacks on the rights of shooters, fishers and farmers.
Jeff’s vision for Victoria’s future is as a state where we are prosperous and safe with only the guilty being punished.
The area of public policy that he is most passionate about is law and order. Jeff’s interest in this area stems from insights he gained as a police officer.
