Meet Emma
Prior to entering Parliament, Emma worked as an electorate officer for both State and Federal members of Parliament. Prior to that, Emma worked in retail and administration roles and as a veterinarian nurse.
Having been a volunteer in her local community for the Country Fire Authority and working in electorate offices, Emma understanding how rewarding it is, and how much she enjoys, helping people. This is what prompted her to run for Parliament.
The main passion and priority Emma has as a member of Parliament is ensuring her community continues to get the infrastructure it needs and deserves. The Pakenham electorate is a fast-growing area and things like schools, public transport, roads, health care and local jobs are some of the things Emma will advocate for. Having suffered from a significant stroke at 36 years of age, Emma is also passionate about the need for good health care and rehabilitation services close to home.
