How is the Allan Labor government’s safer faith-based schools grants program making communities of faith safer in Tarneit? I am proud that the Islamic College of Melbourne has received a share of the $2 million investment designed to keep our faith-based schools safe. The Islamic College of Melbourne is an outstanding school in Tarneit, which is home to a strong and vibrant Muslim community. Ensuring the safety and security of this community is vital, especially in times of division. We know so many families are affected by and worried about their loved ones in the Middle East, testing social cohesion. We also know that families and school communities just want the best education for their children, without needing to worry about their safety. This government is committed to ensuring all students can learn in a safe and secure environment. That is why we are investing in the safety of our students and faith-based communities.
