Mrs Alison Marchant
Meet Alison
Prior to entering Parliament, Alison worked as a primary school teacher and community stakeholder electorate officer.
With a farming background, Alison became interested in politics after working as a community advocate in the anti-fracking campaign. This is what prompted her to run for Parliament.
As a member of Parliament, Alison’s priority is to ensure that community is at the heart of Government decision making.
