1st Deepdene Scout group
Jess WILSON (Kew) (13:13): I had a ball on Sunday morning for Clean Up Australia Day with the 1st Deepdene Scout group along the Anniversary Trail in Canterbury and Deepdene. We all know that local Scouts play a terrific role in our local communities, and it is really important how Scouts teach young people the value of living a life of service. They certainly demonstrated that on Sunday morning as they picked up litter, finding things like tyres and pipes. They are a very enthusiastic bunch, and I thank them all for helping clean up our local community.
