Aiv PUGLIELLI (North-Eastern Metropolitan) (12:58): My question today is to the Minister for Education. It relates to the Maroondah Positive Education Network, which operates in partnership with Maroondah City Council in my region. This excellent program enhances the wellbeing and educational outcomes of students across 30 schools in our community and has recently lost its state government funding without prior notice. This program was specifically mentioned in the Royal Commission into Victoria’s Mental Health System as a select example of a mental health program and framework in education. The commission specifically encouraged the Victorian government to continue to explore the potential to scale this program, yet its state government funding has been cut. Minister, will you urgently reinstate the funding of the program to guarantee its ongoing success and sustainability?
