Old Gippstown Heritage Park

Harriet SHING (Eastern Victoria – Minister for the Suburban Rail Loop, Minister for Housing and Building, Minister for Development Victoria and Precincts) (09:45): I want to give a shout-out to Old Gippstown in Moe. It provides a wonderful way for people to discover the heritage, the stories and the contribution of communities over many generations to the growth and prosperity of the region. It is a beautiful testament to the volunteers, the committee of management and the community more broadly that we see this park go from strength to strength. I also want to acknowledge that we have seen significant growth after the celebration of 50 years of the Old Gippstown Heritage Park. It is always a delight to head there and to enjoy, along with so many others, the many buildings and exhibits and the life that is brought to this part of the world in celebration of its history. It is also open on Sundays and on school holidays, so I would urge everyone to get along and to discover it for themselves.
