Suicide prevention

Ann-Marie HERMANS (South-Eastern Metropolitan) (10:03): I would also like to talk about Wayne Holdsworth today. He spoke to parliamentarians about the situation with his son who committed suicide. Wayne is a highly respected person in the Frankston area and has been CEO of Frankston & District Basketball Association. His son committed suicide at the age of 17 after sending nude photos of himself to what he thought was another young woman who had sent the same, and over time this situation spiralled out of control because it was actually not a young woman but someone trying to extort money from him.
