Glenelg Highway, Muntham
Emma KEALY (Lowan) (09:56): I would like to rise a matter with the Minister for Roads and Road Safety regarding the Glenelg Highway. Yesterday there was a crew on the Glenelg Highway on the Coleraine side of Muntham between Casterton and Coleraine, and they were shovelling in loads of hot mix. Trucks had blown out those hot-mix-filled potholes by the end of the day. We need to make sure that funding is provided to fix our roads properly, because the short-term shovelling of hot mix simply does not work. Also of course the roadworks finished metres before the potholes ended.
