Southern Lights Festival
Tom McINTOSH (Eastern Victoria) (09:59): While at Korumburra I got to catch up with the Friends of Coal Creek. It was an absolute delight to be able to announce that Shirley and all the volunteers there are receiving $30,000 to bring back the Southern Lights Festival. It was a much-loved festival. It was not able to run last year. The year before it was a sellout, with Coal Creek packed full of locals from South Gippy and further – an incredible event. This $30,000 from the state government is going to see the festival come back and be able to go into the future.
